Erhan Solakoğlu (PhD) He received his BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU, Türkiye) in 1984 and 1987, respectively. In 1989, he obtained the diploma of Engineering Specialization (TAS-Propulsion) from the Higher Institute of Aeronautics and Space (ISAE-SUPAERO, France). He received the second Master of Science degree from the Higher Institute of Aeronautics and Space (France) in 1990. He completed his PhD studies in University of Rouen (France) in 1994. He worked as Research Assistant at METU for years and INSA of Rouen. He worked at Turkish Aerospace (TAI) between 1996 and 2023. He took on various roles and responsibilities as Senior Design Engineer, Chief Engineer, Engineering Director, Technical Fellow in different departments, such as Design-Development, Space Systems, Strategy and Technology Management, National Fighter Aircraft and UAV Systems. His areas of interest include fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, flight mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics, wind tunnel testing, turbulent flows, propulsion systems, systems engineering and engineering-technology management. He is nominated as Assistant Professor in the department Mechanical Engineering at Başkent University in 2024
M. Emre Yurttagül was graduated from Middle East Technical University (METU) Environmental Engineering Department in 2007 and gained MSc. Degree in Industrial Engineering – Engineering Management in 2010 from the same university. He started his career as project engineer in an engineering company. After having this experience, he joined Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) as Scientific Programmes Assistant Expert in 2008. He worked as national contact point for EU Framework Programmes and National Project Coordinator for EUREKA & Eurostars Programmes between the years 2008 and 2018. In 2011, he was commissioned in Turkish Research and Business Organizations in Brussels, Belgium. After 2018, he started to work at Roketsan and now, he is working as Technology and Innovation Management System Unit Head. He is mainly responsible for corporate technology and innovation management activities in Roketsan. M. Emre Yurttagül has gained certificates and taken several courses on technology and innovation management from different Universities such as Cornell University, Leeds University and METU. He is one of the fellows of Xnovate Innovation Leadership Programme of Turkish Technology Development Foundation.
Dr. Özalp has received his BSc Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. Following graduation he has started working in Defense, Aeronautics, and Space Industry, initially as Systems Engineer, then Technical Leader and Project Manager. Later, he has received his MSc Degree in Communications Technology field abroad. While continuing to work in the same field, in order to gain an interdisciplinary and holistic systems view on the area, he has also attended the programs of International Space University, University of Cologne, European Space Agency Center for Space Law, regarding International Relations&Law and Science&Technology Policies. With these outcomes, his career expanded to Program Management, Business Process Management and Quality Management fields in space sector. All these aided to complete his PhD on Business Process Management field with holistic systems thinking. He has been giving several post graduate seminars, lectures and courses on Space&Science Policy, Business Process Management and Information Systems and their interrelations.
Erdem Çorapçıoğlu was born in Ankara in 1983. He completed his undergraduate, graduate and doctorate education in the field of Computer Engineering. He started working at TUSAŞ Technology Management Depertmant in 2015 and currently serves as Technology Management Manager.
